Passenger protection

The heart of our safety design is the box made of expanded polypropylene (EPP). Think of it as a massive, upside-down helmet for your kids. This material is chosen for its incredible impact resistance and durability, ensuring it can handle the bumps of daily life. Because it is lightweight, it does not compromise the smooth and agile ride you expect from us.

On our front-loaders, the EPP-box is cradled within a sturdy cage construction frame. This outer protection tube acts as a primary barrier, absorbing potential impacts before they reach the box itself. For the Breeze, we developed the Protection Bar, a robust metal frame that wraps around the rear passengers. This creates a secure "safety zone" that provides a high level of stability and control, so you can navigate the city knowing your passengers are safely tucked in.

Protection goes beyond the frame. On the Breeze, we’ve integrated spoke and belt covers to ensure that little feet and clothes stay safely away from moving parts. Combined with a stable kickstand that features a "hoof" for easy engaging, we ensure the bike remains rock-solid while your children are stepping on or off.

Safety also means comfort. The spacious box of our front-loaders allows for up to three children to sit securely with three-point seatbelts as standard. The Breeze features a heavy-duty MIK-HD rear carrier with a capacity of 80kg, tested and certified for two children. By using the MIK system, you can easily click on compatible child seats from top brands, ensuring a perfect and secure fit every time. Whatever you are carrying, we've got you covered.
