The Bay Trail
One of the most ambitious cycling projects in the United States, the Bay Trail will eventually create a 500-mile path circling the entire San Francisco Bay. Large sections are already complete, connecting waterfront cities like Oakland, Berkeley, and San Mateo. For cargo bike riders, the trail offers scenic and mostly car-free routes between parks, marinas, and neighborhoods.
